Hitsumei Mitame is the author of The Nakamura Conjecture, a thriller that investigates and elucidates the very essence of reality. Hitsumei is also the author of The Pond, a contemplative work for young readers, which is not so much a lesson, as a journey. The lesson arrives on its own. 

In addition to writing, Hitsumei is a lifelong student of Taoism, meditation and the martial arts. Hitsumei is an attorney, and apart from Law, has an educational background in computer science and security policy studies.  Hitsumei is also a world traveler, triathlete, Divemaster and alpine climber.
